Geographic Availability Policy

1. Purpose
This policy outlines the geographic boundaries within which ITFixio Ltd provides its on-site IT support services. It aims to set clear expectations regarding service availability, response times, and travel-related charges based on client location.
2. Service Area
ITFixio Ltd is headquartered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK, and provides on-site IT support services to clients located within a 50-mile of our head office.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Wellingborough
-
Corby
-
Peterborough
-
Leicester
-
Milton Keynes
-
Bedford
-
Rugby
-
Market Harborough
-
Cambridge (partial coverage depending on location)
3. On-Site Support
Within the 50-Mile:
On-site support and engineer visits are fully included in applicable service agreements, subject to SLA terms.
Outside the 50-Mile:
On-site support and engineer visits are fully included in applicable service agreements, subject to the terms outlined in your Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Beyond the 50-Mile Radius
Clients located outside the 50-mile boundary may still request on-site support, subject to the following conditions:

Travel Surcharge: £0.75+VAT per mile (each way) beyond the 50-mile limit, calculated from our Kettering office.

Minimum Call-Out Fee: A minimum call-out fee may apply depending on distance and required engineer time.

Response Times: SLA targets for on-site visits may vary based on travel distance and engineer availability.

Advance Booking Required: All visits outside the standard service area must be pre-booked and confirmed in writing.
Example:
A client located 70 miles from Kettering would incur a travel surcharge for 20 miles each way (40 miles round trip) at £0.75 per mile, totalling £30+VAT.
4. Remote Support
Remote IT support services are available to all clients across the UK, regardless of location. These services are not subject to geographic restrictions, and service-level response times remain consistent nationwide.
5. Exceptions and Custom Agreements
ITFixio Ltd may waive or adjust travel surcharges in certain situations, such as:

Long-term or high-value contracts

Pre-scheduled, multi-client site visits within the same geographic area

Remote-first service plans with emergency on-site support options
All exceptions must be agreed upon in writing and documented in the client’s Service Agreement or SLA.
6. Policy Updates
ITFixio Ltd reserves the right to update this policy as needed based on operational capacity, strategic partnerships, or geographic expansion. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
