Onsite Support Policy

This Fair Usage Policy (“Policy”) outlines the acceptable use of Onsite Support Services provided by ITFixio Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). The purpose of this Policy is to ensure the fair and reasonable use of our onsite support resources by all customers.

1. Purpose

Our Onsite Support Services are designed to provide timely and efficient technical assistance to customers when issues cannot be resolved remotely. To maintain high service levels for all clients, this Policy sets reasonable usage expectations.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all clients receiving Onsite Support Services as part of a managed IT support agreement or other service contracts with ITFixio Ltd.

3. Fair Use Thresholds

Onsite support is provided within fair and reasonable limits. The following thresholds apply:

  • Standard Plans: Up to 4 hours or 1 visit of onsite support per month (as specified in your agreement).

  • Pro Plans: Up to 8 hours or 2 visits of onsite support per month (as specified in your agreement).

4. Excessive Usage

If your onsite support usage exceeds the fair usage limits, we may:

  • Charge £75 per hour (plus VAT) for any additional onsite support time.

  • Recommend service upgrades if ongoing onsite demand is high.

  • Work with you to identify and reduce recurring onsite needs.

We will notify you if you are approaching or exceeding fair usage limits.

5. Examples of Unfair Usage

Unfair or excessive use may include, but is not limited to:

  • Repeated requests for onsite visits for non-urgent issues.

  • Avoiding the use of available remote support channels.

  • Deliberately bypassing basic troubleshooting steps.

  • Using onsite visits for tasks outside the scope of agreed services (e.g. office moves, third-party hardware installs, routine printer ink replacement, password resets).

Persistent misuse may result in:

  • Suspension of onsite services.

  • Reclassification of your service plan.

  • Mandatory remote triage before further onsite visits are booked.

6. Exemptions

The following are not counted towards your fair usage allowance:

  • Scheduled project work with separate scopes or quotes.

  • Site visits explicitly requested by ITFixio Ltd (e.g. for audits or installations).

  • Emergency disaster recovery or security incidents.

7. Monitoring & Enforcement

We monitor the use of our onsite support services to ensure fair access for all clients. If usage consistently exceeds fair usage thresholds, we may:

  • Notify you and discuss your requirements.

  • Recommend service plan upgrades.

  • Apply additional charges for excessive or non-contractual visits.

  • Suspend onsite support where misuse is proven and unresolved.

8. Discretion

  • We may update this Policy at any time. Changes will be noted at the top of this page.

  • We reserve the right to assess each case individually and use reasonable discretion in applying this policy. Our goal is to be fair and flexible, while ensuring we can meet the needs of all clients.
  • In case of any conflict between this version and previous versions, the current version shall prevail.
